Hey Snoolas! Thanks for all of your recent fixes and changes; very much appreciated :)
Regarding the category pages... don't worry about putting much text at the top of them. When I have some time I'm going to change it so that the content pages (like the SDL page) are actually the category pages. It'll take a lot of work though, as we'll have to go through and categorize and subcategorize all of the articles. We'll have to name their category links more appropriately, too.
So yeah, don't worry about adding much text to the category pages themselves. But categorizing the various article pages is quite helpful!
Thanks again. Ryan Clark 10:53, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)
- That would work much better. It is strange right now, how there is an SDL page and an SDL category page.--Snoolas 11:03, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)
Snoolas == gpwiki janitor? :) Nice work! Ryan Clark 11:26, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)
- Thank You. I just can't stand all those errors and *gasp* uncapitalized comment lines!--Snoolas 14:16, 1 Apr 2005 (EST)

[edit] SDL.dll?
DL'ed Eat, it's complaining about the lack of SDL.dll. Can you distribute it in the zip?
- OK, mystery person. I'm working on it. I hope I can figure out how to replace the old one for the new one.--Snoolas 15:39, 2 Apr 2005 (EST)
- It was me. Codehead 15:42, 2 Apr 2005 (EST) Gah! I keep forgetting to sign me scribblings.
- It's telling me that the file contains no data and it won't let me.--Snoolas 15:46, 2 Apr 2005 (EST)
- I normally just upload a file with the same name, it overwrites the old one after a prompt. Codehead 15:48, 2 Apr 2005 (EST)
- Why won't it let me upload it? It says that the document contains no data, no matter how many times I try...
- Which file? Old or new?, Take this to the forums, we're cluttering up the wiki here. Codehead 15:55, 2 Apr 2005 (EST)
[edit] SDL Keyboard Tutorial
Nice work! I've read it over and I can't see any errors. Thanks for the contribution :)
I'll see if I can get Eat to run on my Linux machine when I have some time. Ryan Clark 16:36, 26 Apr 2005 (EDT)
- Thanks! It took me too long to get that thing up... If I would ever get around to loading up SDL and all of those libraries on my Vector Linux 2.6.11.7 kernel custom compile box, I would test Eat myself. I think I'll start on that now... --Snoolas 14:41, 27 Apr 2005 (EDT)
[edit] SDL demo page
Hey Snoolas. Just thought I'd mention that you can link to your Eat source code (and, hopefully someday, your USE source!) from the SDL demo website: http://www.libsdl.org/demos.php That ought to get your stuff a bit more exposure. It'll get the wiki some more exposure, too!
Regarding SDL_ttf: A tutorial would be great! I know many people have trouble getting that library to work... and there are very few good SDL_ttf tutorials out there on the web.
Anyway, enough rambling!

- Ohkeedokey, I added it to the list. --Snoolas 19:11, 28 May 2005 (EDT)
You're funny. But your blockbreak tar.gz file does not work. --Marijn
- Uhhh... I have no idea what the problem is, so I can't do anything to help... --Snoolas 16:57, 1 Aug 2005 (EDT)
- OK, I see the problem. "Not in gzip format..." Working on it... --Snoolas 17:00, 1 Aug 2005 (EDT)
- Fixed. I'll see if Paddles has the same problem. --Snoolas 17:06, 1 Aug 2005 (EDT)
- Paddles doesn't have the problem. --Snoolas 17:08, 1 Aug 2005 (EDT)
[edit] lol
Funny :) , You have too much free time. Codehead 14:43, 4 Aug 2005 (EDT)
- I've noticed that... --Snoolas 14:53, 4 Aug 2005 (EDT)
