Researcher at the London Knowledge Lab, PhD student at the School of Mathematics, Science and Technology at the Institue of Education. Lead researcher with the project Learning Patterns for the design and deployment of mathematical games. Together with Carey Jewitt, I facilitate the LKL workshop series on knowledge in social software.

MSc in computer science from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. At the London Knowledge Lab I have previously worked as a Research Officer on the WebLabs project. Before that I designed and developed web-based network management software for Cisco Systems. My research interests include Programming as a constructionist tool in mathematics and science education, Open Source and education, Web-based systems to support learning communities and Democratic education.
