What is our opinion about these "alternate opinions" and criticisms people are putting in in italics? I think they really detract from the page's appearance and professionalism. Maybe if they could somehow be merged into the page's text... --Snoolas 14:49, 26 January 2006 (EST)

I agree... things should either be added to the page properly, or moved to the "Talk" page. --Ryan Clark 15:55, 26 January 2006 (EST)
Some of the comments are valid alternative views, others are just supporting points for one or another view already established. I think it would be best to compile all the comments for a section into 1 or 2 complete Alternate method sub-sections, written in an objective tone. any volunteers? --Bence Joful

Is it just me or does it first say you need to manage time correctly, and then the rest of the tips basically say be very perfectionistic, at least in the programming section.

Counterpoint: but you can't use open-source code as commercial stuff. You'd be better writing your own

My reply: That may not be true, depending on the open source license. For LGPL libraries (like SDL), you simply have to allow users to re-link. Even for GPL, you can sell what you make, the only rule is that you have to make the source available. (You don't have to make your graphics/sound/levels/etc available for free!) --Ryan Clark 17:26, 23 February 2008 (EST)

[edit] Subjective Essays

This is clearly a subjective essay, and I think it should be kept that way. For all of those people who disagree with what this author has written, they can write their own essays, and they can all be linked to each other. --141.150.53.30 11:45, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
