I couldn't find any place where you said everything has to be in English. It makes sense, but you might want to write it down somewhere. --Lachlan87 18:57, 23 Feb 2005 (EST)

It does more than just make sense. The entire site is in English :) - sik0fewl 18:36, 23 Feb 2005 (EST)
My point was that it was never explicitly said to be against the rules, regardless of logic and good taste. --Lachlan87 18:57, 23 Feb 2005 (EST)
I agree with you Lachlan87, but where should I put that info? I guess discussing it here might be sufficient :) If there is an excellent resource in another language (ie. with source code that would be useful to English speakers), then I have no problem with leaving the link... but only if the link itself is described in English. The link posted today was entirely unintelligible to me, so I had to remove it. It wouldn't have been any use to the majority of our visitors. Ryan Clark 21:17, 23 Feb 2005 (EST)
I think putting it under the help file, probably under posting conventions would be a good idea. Not so much because I think anyone will read it, but because I'm the kind of guy who likes to have the rules all layed out. :) I agree that it was a good idea to remove the link, I just want to be able to point to a rulebook if anyone complains. --Lachlan87 07:44, 24 Feb 2005 (EST)
Ok, I've added it to the posting conventions, as that seems to be the most logical spot for it. Thanks for pointing this out, Lachlan87. It should help to diffuse squabbles in the future. Ryan Clark 08:51, 24 Feb 2005 (EST)

[edit] Spam links

Why does toymaker.info trigger the spam filter? I had to split up its link but I checked out the site and it looks legit... Eep² 10:29, July 19, 2007 (EDT)
