TEKLIB says that TEKlib is a cross-platform multimedia library and software development kit. It is distributed under the terms of a free software license. TEKlib is addressed to developers of libraries, components, games and multimedia applications. If you are tired of porting your software, then TEKlib may be what you have been looking for.

Platforms Supported are Linux, Windows, MacOS X, FreeBSD, TAO Intent, MorphOS, AmigaOS. TEKlib is endian-neutral and 64bit-aware. Included is a cross-platform build system which is not dependent from a particular compiler or toolchain.
