Game ideas: Hard Core

Diablo 2 was the ultimate hack'n slash game. This game will go even futher. Hard Core is a Diablo-clone, where the character moves around and kills the enemies automaticly. While the characters melee-attack and movement is automatic, the mana-draining magic is applied manually. However, the magic consumes a lot of mana, so you will have to use it sparsely.
The player picks up different objects, uses skillpoint, and drinks different potions when needed. The player will level up much quicker than in Diablo. It starts being about every three minute, but the time between the levels goes down instead of up.
The character moves towards the left. The lower part of the screen is always used for dialogs. It consist of three tabs: Character stats, Skills and inventory.
The health and mana counters are always visible. So is the attack-chooser, the magic, and the potions.
The game is hardcore - that is, once you die, you stay dead. (Or maybe the player has three lives?)
The player can choose between several different quests. He doesnt have to complete any of them to proceed, but if he skips too many, he will not have enough experience for the quest, and dies.
