Policy establishment

With gamedev.net taking over hosting of the wiki, it is reasonable to expect a moderate-to-large influx of new users. It's probably a good idea, then, to establish some basic sets of rules and guidelines for how the wiki operates -- since near as I can tell, there's no clear documentation on this subject. Since wikis can be become a chaotic mess of edit wars and the like without some rules to fall back on, I've taken the liberty of starting to draft up some basic policies. They are filed under Category:GDWiki proposed policy. Please take some time to review them and comment on the talk pages.jpetrie talk 08:44, 27 April 2008 (CDT)
