Weekly Update # 84 - Sight Spotting

Hello there! It's your favourite Weekly Update blog post again! This week was kinda rough A lot was going on at home, which made it difficult to do any work at all. There's not a whole lot of new stuff this week either. No bug fix or massive new mechanics. However, I've still managed to pull something out. This is probably going to be a short one, so let's get this thing done!

Jungle Challenge #10

After a bit of prototyping, I've finally managed to get some 3D modelling going on for the 10th jungle challenge. While it's still not fully finished I've still managed to get enough for you to get a sneak preview of it.

Here's it is.

As you can see I'm trying to go for a submerge hidden pool deep in the jungle.

This one is going to be a purely platforming one. You need to jump across many broken stalactites and get to the hidden island. It's straight forward, except these stalactites aren't that stable. I'm still unsure whenever or not these would wobble or tip over, but it's not going to be an easy feat.

But that's about what I can say for now. It's not fully completed yet but the main gist is there.

Minor Updates

  • Fixed a bug where breakable boxes wouldn't show their damage level when seen from afar.

Next Week

I'm not too sure about next week. Putting out the Monthly build is a priority along with putting the finishing touches on the last jungle challenges. However, there's a lot of uncertainty with my availability next week. I have to do a couple of back-burner projects among other things.

But fear not! I'm going to try my best at giving out a good amount of content. At least that's the goal.
