Hi !

I usually share my latest sound design or sound tutorials here, but this time I would like to share the crazy week I went through, sound designing for a game jam organized by Itch.io. I joined 6 teams at first, some of which rapidly bailed out, but others went all the way and managed to submit their game. I documented the process which lasted about a week with these 5 videos. I know it's a lot of watching, so feel free to skip and only watch the fun parts, but here you go. My 5 day crazy Game Jam Week !

I enjoyed watching all 5 videos. :) It's a shame the other teams didn't fall through but even so all the stuff you made can always be used for other projects, or polished up (if needed) and put on your site.

Nice work!

Thanks man, you are always here to check out my work, I appreciate it :) That's a lot of footage too !

Yeah I was expecting some drop outs that's why I joined so many teams. In the end 2 teams made it. I will make a follow up video next week I think, and then move on to my usual videos.

Yes, a lot of sounds that weren't used this time are re-usable with a little bit of polishing.

Thanks again for your ongoing support !

One of the many reasons I don't do game jams. :D Too many times I joined a team and people stopped committing then dropped out. There is an endless supply of those that are all hyped out pre-work, but once you actually have to grind out those hours some people tend to drop out in my experience.

Yeah I totally see what you mean. It's probably easier for me as a sound designer though. The work always comes in later, so I can see what teams are serious enough.
