Memories...

So last night, before I stopped procrastinating and went to bed, I decided to check my journal for any new comments, and the number of views struck me...

1337 is now only a meme of old, and it doesn't even fit here, but there was something intimately familiar.

Three and a half years ago, I took another screenshot of my fledgling journal, which managed to survive many file reorganizations and at least one OS meltdown.

The original was taken on my same computer a then kickass Dell XPS Laptop, while I was in Pittsburgh attending the Carnegie-Mellon University "National High School Game Academy". Looking at the original entry, I realized it was on a day I remember very well, the 4th of July night I spent wandering around seedy neighborhoods in the downtown area trying to catch a bus, not sure if the pops we heard in the distance were black cats or 9mm's. We eventually found our way back, and I found a brief girlfriend, got my letter of recommendation to CMU, went back to high school, went to my state college instead, had my heart broken, changed my major twice before settling on the left-field field of Geography... and every once in a while found time to update this journal.

Well anyway... 101,337 is a lot more than 1,337-
Over 100,000 times, someone has bothered to read this journal, a simple repository of my ideas and work regardinga random hobby of mine. Most of the ideas never went anywhere, and the art was usually okay, but the views always went up...

I guess what I'm trying to say is...
Thanks Guys.

Angels Twenty-Whatever is proceeding at a pretty good clip so far, hopefully I'll have some screenshots of Helicopters and/or trucks to show you soon.

If you're like me then the number 1337 is hard coded into your brain stem. I find myself looking at the clock at exactly 13:37 disturbingly often.

Oh, and I guess the second image should be different, right?

Dammit! I'll fix that one later, gotta get to class... my GDnet+ webspace was giving me obscene amounts of trouble. I hope they do something for V5...
